The Bergen Bowmen kicked off their 64th year on January 4, 2016. The meeting, held at the Paramus Elks Club, celebrated the longevity and integrity of the club. The newly elected officers: Jack Dewar, President, Dwayne Pradt, Vice President, and Danny Lombardo, Secretary, welcomed the longtime members and a host of new members. Plans for the New Year were discussed and included, but were not limited to, fund raising activities and community involvement. Because of popular movies like The Hunger Games and Brave, archery has become a very popular sport, especially among young women. The club encourages anyone with interest in participating to contact either secretary Lombardo at 201-294-4193 or Joel M. Riotto at 201-768-4447 for more information, or visit our website at www.bergenbowmen.com. The Bergen Bowmen Archery Club has a history of teaching and mentoring young archers since 1953 when the organization was first established. We are a non-profit organization.
